Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder has been officially launched in India for INR 3.45 Crore (ex-showroom). The Italian supercar giant has left the old nomenclature system and simply named it ‘rear wheel drive spyder’. The car is powered by the same 5.2 liter, naturally aspirated V10 petrol engine that is good for 580 HP @ 8000 rpm and 540 NM @ 6500 rpm. RWD Spyder even weighs 120 kg more than the Coupe model, making it slower by 0.2 seconds in 0-100 kmph sprint.

The top speed even gets affected on the drop top Huracan, and RWD Spyder manages to hit a top speed of 319 kmph. This supercar typically takes 3.6 seconds for a 0-100 kph sprint and 10.4 seconds to reach 200 kmph. The visual changes include a new bumper that is actually effective in creating more downforce on this model. The notable set of alloy wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tyres remain the same on the RWD Sypder Huracan. The price hike on the Sypder variant is quite high when compared to the same RWD Coupe model.
Lamborghini Huracan RWD models are actually fun to drive as they are powered by the large displacement, naturally aspirated engines that were once the best available in the super car class. Recently, cars with twin turbochargers and other technologies like supercharger got popular as they use lesser fuel when driven with ease and even produce lesser emissions than the mighty super cars with engines like the Huracan RWD Sypder.
