Classic Legends have been in the news for late deliveries of Jawa motorcycles since long. The motorcycles were launched in India on November 15, 2018. It’s been more than 8 long months for Jawa customers waiting for their deliveries. Considering the patience of customers running thin, Classic Legends have finally launched a Jawa Delivery Estimator on their official website.
The recent launch of the delivery estimator brings in a sigh of relief for the Jawa customers who failed at getting an estimated delivery time from their dealerships as well as from Jawa officials. With the Jawa Delivery Estimator, the customers who have booked their motorcycles online and are waiting for their deliveries since November 2018, just have to enter their booking ID and the registered phone number to check the estimated delivery time.
While some of the customers are finally happy with the initiative, others seem to incur some issues with the estimator. For some booking IDs, the Jawa Delivery Estimator is showing this message – “Your booking has been cancelled”, while for some customers, it is showing – “This booking combination does not exist”.
This has been noted by the Jawa officials closely while they will be working on resolving the bugs in the website soon. For all the customers who have booked their Jawa motorcycles offline, the brand is also planning to introduce “offline” booking ID check functionality in their delivery estimator soon.
Commenting on the launch of the Jawa Delivery Estimator, the Jawa officials stated – “We’re live with our Delivery Estimator! This gives you a delivery window of bookings done till 25th Dec 2018. We’d said your motorcycles will be home by Sept 2019 and are working towards that. The delivery status of bookings made after 25th Dec. at dealerships will also be out soon. Stay tuned!”
The brand officially reported back in April 2019 that all the customers who have booked the Jawa motorcycles till April will be getting the deliveries by September 2019. Though, according to the latest updates, only the Jawa customers who have booked the motorcycles before 25 December 2018 will be getting the deliveries by September. All that ruckus is finally getting on the nerves of customers who are officially expressing their disappointment on online platforms.
