Jawa Delivery Estimator Version 2.0 Launched: As promised, Classic Legends has launched the updated version of the Jawa delivery estimator. Recently, the brand launched the first version of the estimator and it was able to show the tentative delivery dates to only those buyers who booked the motorcycle online before December 25, 2018. Now, the company has launched the updated version and the customers who have booked their Jawa motorcycles at the dealerships can also check the tentative delivery period.
Here’s what Jawa has to say about the updated version of the delivery estimator: “It’s out as promised! The next version of Delivery Estimator is now live. This gives you a delivery window of bookings done on our website, as well as at our dealerships. Visit the Delivery Estimator here.”
For some of the booking IDs, the first version of the delivery estimator was showing messages like “Your booking has been cancelled” and “This booking combination does not exist”. This problem has been fixed in the latest version. But still, some of the customers are not satisfied and according to them, as per the updated version of the delivery estimator, the delivery time has increased in comparison to what the first version of the delivery estimator was showing.
Classic Legends have been in the news for late deliveries of Jawa motorcycles since long. The motorcycles were launched in India on November 15, 2018. It’s been more than 8 long months for Jawa customers waiting for their deliveries. A lot of customers have even cancelled their booking and have bought another motorcycle, a Royal Enfield Classic in most of the cases.
The Jawa motorcycles are powered by a 293cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which is good for a maximum power of 27 BHP and a maximum torque of 28 Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Jawa range starts at INR 1.55 lakh for the base model of the Jawa 42 and goes up to INR 1.73 lakh for the Jawa 300 with a 2-channel ABS unit.
