According to a recent report from Autocar India, the deliveries of the much-talked-about Perak Bobber will commence in the Indian markets from July 20. Earlier, the Perak deliveries were supposed to begin from April 2 but the brand wasn’t able to commence the same because of the Coronavirus pandemic situation as the Indian government implemented a lockdown in March to control the spread of the virus.
Classic Legends officially launched the Jawa Perak motorcycle in the Indian market back on November 15, 2019, with a price tag of INR 1.95 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is powered by a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected BS6 engine, which is good for 30HP of maximum power and 31Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle features blacked-out spoke rims, suspension parts, engine, and exhaust system to create an impressive profile for the Bobber.
In terms of safety, the Perak is equipped with a 280mm front disc brake, 240mm rear disc brake, and both of them are mated to a 2-channel ABS unit as standard. The motorcycle features a double cradle tubular frame and has a wheelbase of 1485mm. The seat height stands at 750mm while the Perak weighs 179kgs, and has a fuel tank capacity of 14-litres.
