Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R to Reportedly Make Debut in October 2019

A recent report in the automotive industry claims that Kawasaki Ninja ZX-25R could officially make debut at the Tokyo Motor Show in October 2019. The motorcycle was earlier teased through various renderings as Kawasaki is working secretly on the 4-cylinder sportbike to keep itself ahead with the competition that comes through the powerful twin-cylinder engines from Honda and other rivals.

This year, the 46th Tokyo Motor Show will bring mouth-watering concepts and production-spec motorcycles from around the world. The primary focus will be on electrification of the vehicles and along with that, the brands will focus on downsizing their engines to keep emission lower than usual products.

The other way to achieve this feat would be through hybridization, hinting at various engine setup options for the Kawasaki like the use of a supercharger. The only hint for the motorcycle that the industry has till date is through a prototype at the facility with loud exhaust sound.

The reports are now hinting that the Ninja ZX-25R will generate a maximum power of close to 50 HP, definitely making the motorcycle powerful enough to challenge anything that could come in its way. The powerful option will share its design with more premium options like the Ninja H2 as supercharging could only help Kawasaki achieve such a huge power figure.

Ninja 250, the twin cylinder option from Kawasaki is good for 39 HP and 23.5 Nm. The jump of 10 HP can help the motorcycle fight directly against bigger options like Honda CBR400R. The cost factor will definitely rise with this update as putting an advanced supercharger that is compact enough to work will have a lot of research cost.

Kawasaki could also name the upcoming 4-cylinder supersport bike under the H moniker if they plan to bring a huge price tag to this machine and moreover, high performance will mean lower sales target for the brand. Thus, the machine will target only the purest of all racers.
