BS6 KTM Duke 250 LED-Headlight Model Launched in India: Bajaj Auto has officially launched the all-LED headlight model of the KTM Duke 250 with a price tag of INR 2.09 lakhs. For your reference, the halogen-headlight version of the motorcycle was available for INR 2.05 lakhs. The prices mentioned here are ex-showroom. Apart from the addition of the all-LED headlight from the Duke 390, KTM has also updated the ABS unit with the SuperMoto Mode which means that the anti-lock braking system is now switchable. Mechanically, the BS6 KTM Duke 250 is powered by the 248.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine that is capable of offering maximum power of 30HP @ 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 24Nm @ 7500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
In addition to this, the brand has equipped wth motorcycle with an additional catalytic convertor further complying with the more stringent BS6 emission norms.
The suspension duties continue to be handled by USD forks at the front while the rear has been equipped with a monoshock absorber. The updated motorcycle features disc brakes on either side mated to dual-channel ABS as standard.
