Live Photos: KTM 250 Adventure Starts Reaching Dealerships

KTM 250 Adventure Starts Reaching Dealerships (Live Photos): KTM recently launched the much-awaited 250 Adventure in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 2.48 lakhs. The adventure motorcycle has started reaching dealerships across the country while the deliveries are expected to commence in the coming days.

Thanks to Nijom Kumar (@niku17) for sharing the live photos of KTM 250 Adventure with us. The newly-launched KTM has no direct rivals in India, though it competes with the rest of the adventure motorcycles priced under INR 3 lakhs (ex-showroom), which includes the likes of Royal Enfield Himalayan and the BMW G310GS. Here are the live photos of the KTM 250 Adventure:

KTM 250 Adventure Starts Reaching Dealerships

Sharing the same underpinnings as that of its elder sibling, KTM 390 Adventure, the 250cc adventure motorcycle has been further differentiated by offering a halogen headlamp while the KTM 390 Adventure is equipped with an all-LED headlight. The halogen light on the 250 Adventure has been further mated to LED DRLs. Another major change is that unlike the 390 Adventure’s coloured TFT console, the 250 Adventure has been equipped with a mono-colour LCD instrument console.

Apart from this, the motorcycle features similar belly pan, tank extensions and other designing traits as that of its 390cc sibling. Powering the KTM 250 Adventure is a BS6-compliant 248.8cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 30HP and a peak torque of 24Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The motorcycle features 43mm USD forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock unit at the rear. The braking power is offered by 320mm disc brake at the front with a four-piston radial calliper while the rear has been equipped with a 230mm disc brake with a single-piston calliper.

The motorcycle further features the MRF Mogrip Meteor-FM2 dual-purpose tyres. KTM 250 Adventure also features switchable 2-channel ABS with off-road mode but it doesn’t feature traction control, a quickshifter, cornering ABS, and Bluetooth connectivity, like the 390 Adventure.
