Updated KTM Sport Bikes On-Road Price List: The on-road prices for KTM RC390 and Duke 390 are up by a considerable margin, all thanks to their 373.2cc engine that falls in the biggest insurance bracket for motorcycles in the country. On the other side, the number has jumped for three other options falling between 150-350cc segment in a different manner. The entry-level KTM Duke 200 now commands an on-road price tag of INR 1,74,583. The number includes INR 12,660 as registration and INR 10,165 as the zero depreciation insurance policy premium. The on-road amount also counts mandatory helmet cost of INR 1295.
The insurance policy for RC200 costs INR 10,789 while Duke 250 attracts a policy with INR 10,825 to be paid for five years. KTM RC390 is priced at INR 2,81,492 (on-road), including the huge INR 21,225 worth premium for zero depreciation policy. The most expensive model yet, KTM 390 Duke, comes with a policy price of INR 21,300 and attracts a total on-road price tag of INR 2,85,020. This amount helps the rider stay stress-free for a considerable five-year term. A buyer can now include the policy amount in their EMI, leaving them with just service cost for the coming years of ownership.
KTM is yet to upgrade the design for 200 Duke in India while most fans are expecting an all-new KTM RC design at EICMA 2018. Most probably, the brand is expected to launch the 2018 KTM RC series with similar features as the upgraded Duke models. One can expect the new console from Duke 390 to appear on 2019 KTM RC390 in the coming weeks. Also, the 373.2cc engine can be tuned for more performance on the full faired sports bike. The availability of ride by wire further increases the possibility of premium features like traction control or riding modes on the 2019 models.
