Limited-Edition Damon Hypersport HS Motorcycles Unveiled

According to recent reports, two limited-edition versions of the Damon Hypersport HS electric motorcycle have been officially unveiled. The brand has christened the two variants as ‘Arctic Sun’ and ‘Midnight Sun’ and they will be available under the Damon “Hypersport” moniker. The new motorcycle variants are based on the original Hypersport motorcycle that was initially showcased to the world at CES 2020.

The Damon Hypersport Arctic Sun and Midnight Sun have been adorned with white and black colour schemes respectively while the addition of golden detailing adds to their premium outlook tenfold. The brand has equipped the motorcycle variants with multiple premium features which are offered in addition to the Copilot system that further ensures utmost safety by monitoring the 360 degrees and offers collision-warning alerts to the rider.

In addition to this, both the motorcycle variants from the Vancouver-based startup features Damon Shift Technology that allows the rider to shift from commuter mode to the sports mode electronically.

Limited-Edition Damon Hypersport HS Motorcycles Unveiled

The Damon Hypersport electric motorcycle was specifically created to redefine the future of motorcycling by improving the safety and comfort associated with it. The specifications noted from the electric motorcycle makes it a strong opponent to all other e-motorcycles in the world.

Powering the motorcycle is a PMAC liquid-cooled 160kW motor that is capable of churning out a maximum power of more than 200HP. The electric motorcycle is further equipped with a massive 21.5kWh battery.

The motorcycle is capable of offering more than 200Nm of torque and is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds. The battery is capable of charging to its fullest in under 3 hours while the top speed registered by the motorcycle stands at 322kmph. The company-claimed total range offered by the Damon Hypersport electric motorcycle stands at 322kms (200 miles).

The motorcycle is based on a single-sided carbon fibre swingarm which gets Ohlins suspension as well as braking system sourced with Brembo callipers. The brand has been recently focusing on expanding its team by sourcing in some high-profile hires to create an entirely new powertrain for its future generation of motorcycles.
