Mahindra has officially launched the Mojo UT300 in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.49 Lakh. Buyers will also get ‘Exclusive Introductory Benefit’ of INR 10,000, if they will buy the New Mojo UT300 within the month of March.
Mahindra Mojo UT300 is the official name for carbureted version of Mojo. From now onward, the fuel injected version will be known by the name Mojo XT300. UT stands for ‘Universal Tourer’ and XT stands for ‘Xtreme Tourer’.
Mahindra has swapped the USD premium forks with conventional telescopic suspension, Pirelli tyres with MRF units and fuel injection with carburetor. Not just that, one exhaust goes missing from Mahindra Mojo UT300. The front fascia now comes without the LED daytime running lights but same dual headlight setup and dual tone headlight casing.
This motorcycle was seen at various occasions and Mahindra even proved its worth by riding the same across all possible passes and tough terrains of India. The golden ribs, swing-arm and suspension have turned black on the UT300.
Both XT300 and UT300 models will be sold alongside each other at exclusive Mojo dealerships across India. Mahindra Mojo UT300 and XT300 shares the same 295cc, single cylinder engine producing 26.82 BHP at 8000 rpm and 30 Nm at 5500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Prakash Wakankar, CEO – Two Wheelers Business said: “At Mahindra, we have always believed in innovation and providing our consumers an exciting value proposition. With the launch of the Mahindra Mojo UT 300, we believe that we have an exciting product offering for the new age bike enthusiast. With the launch of this new variant, the MOJO will now be available to a wider range of consumers in more than 60 cities across India.”
