Mega List of 75 New Bikes Unveiled @ EICMA 2017

New Bikes EICMA 2017: The world’s biggest motorcycle show witnessed the presence of a large number of exhibitors this year. Starting right from the Austrian KTM to Italian Aprilia, the list includes some of the most desirable machines for the coming years. Royal Enfield and Ducati brought smiles on every face while Kawasaki surprised everyone with another example of marvelous engineering. Here is the mega list of 75 new bikes and concepts unveiled @ EICMA 2017.

KTM (3 New Bikes EICMA)

The Austrian performance brand brought a production variant for much awaited 790 Duke while 790 Adventure was seen in its concept form. For those who are into strict touring, KTM 1290 Super Adventure S is here to make things easier than ever. However, KTM didn’t announce any update regarding the RC series and the much-awaited 390 Adventure.

Royal Enfield (2 New Bikes EICMA)

The much awaited Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 were unveiled at EICMA 2017. Carrying a powerful 648 cc 2-cylinder engine, both the bikes are here to take Royal Enfield’s success to a new level. The production of both bikes will start in April 2018 and we can expected launch to happen in India around mid-2018.

Husqvarna (2 New Bikes EICMA)

The niche brand unveiled a production variant for Vitpilen 701 and simultaneously, brought Svartpilen 701 as a concept. The bigger variant for Vitpilen 401 carries slightly different design scheme and an all new exhaust system.

Ducati (12 New Bikes EICMA)

One of the most appealing brand out of all, Ducati flaunted its muscle with all new Panigale V4 and its higher spec variants. If you are not into faired bike business, Ducati Scrambler 1100 and Multistrada 1260 were present to bring every opponent down to its knees.

Hero MotoCorp (1 New Bike)

Hero MotoCorp left its HX250R and brought an all new XPulse 200 prototype to the show. Carrying the same engine as expected Xtreme 200S, the motorcycle will fulfill Indian rider needs for tough terrains. Hero MotoCorp will unveil the production version of XPulse 200 @ 2018 Auto Expo in February.

Kawasaki (6 New Bikes EICMA)

Ninja H2 SX was a star product at EICMA 2017. Wrapped up in additional fairing and carrying a re-tuned version of H2’s supercharged engine, the motorcycle is a gem in sport touring segment. Kawasaki even unveiled Z900RS Cafe Racer and the brand also teased Ninja 125 and Z125. The 125cc twins will be officially unveiled @ EICMA 2018 in November next year.

Japanese giant Honda brought an impressive lineup of CB series bikes. All of them were based on the latest design language and flaunted almost round headlamps with LED lights. Their all-new Africa Twin is now ore powerful and feature loaded than ever.

The German giant brought F750GS (road oriented) and F850GS (off-road specific) to cater the needs of every increasing touring community. Their C400X scooter was one of its kind product at the show while K1600 Grand America was a special variant based on their flagship tourer.

British marque Triumph refreshed their Tiger Series with 4 new variants, two each in 800cc and 1200cc segment. Two bikes from these four are road based while other two carry spoke rims and added equipment for off-road performance.

Sport Glide from the American manufacturer is one great example of elegance and practicality in 2017. It carries the popular Milwaukee 107 engine and flaunts low sling riding attitude from its low seat and extended wheelbase.

Indian Motorcycles (1 New Bike)

Indian Motorcycles showcased a retro modern machine named Scout FTR1200 at EICMA 2017. It came with a unique layout and reminded of Harley Davidson’s 1200cc Roadster. The exhaust is actually quite different from others of this segment.

UM brought four new bikes to EICMA 2017, starting right from the much talked Renegade Sport S Vegas to an all-new Scrambler X. Apart from these two, fans were offered a glimpse of UM Adventure TT and Cafe Renegade at the show. All of these carried a 125cc engine but could make it to India with the bigger 300cc option. UM also showcased Renegade Electric at EICMA 2017.
