Revolt RV400 is the first bike to feature AI-powered electric powertrain in India, starting an era of modern designing, connectivity, and efficiency under a single brand name. The motorcycle comes with certain segment-first features, leaving not even the sound that comes from the exhaust without any visible signs of the smoke-emitting part.
The sync between the accelerator and exhaust sound is so pure that every rev of the throttle brings this exclusive experience alive on the RV400. The silent nature of electric motorcycles may put some threat to their existence in the world where enthusiasts love sounds from their exhaust more than anything else on the road.
Revolt offers an application for the smartphone that acts as the basic controller of the RV400. The sound section on the application comes with different pre-loaded sounds namely Revolt, Roar, Rage, and Rebel. It offers a unique exhaust sound with every single touch on the display of your smartphone. These sounds resemble different outputs as one can be seen matching to a four-cylinder superbike while others bringing the two-stroke experience alive.
The Revolt sound is slightly basic while the fourth option is the loudest of all with a custom exhaust feel. However, the options are not just limited to these only. The Revolt RV400 owners can also download more sounds to be used as the exhaust note while only those available from the official sources will have the sync feature.
The feature works in real-time as the rider will not even need a restart of the application or start-stop the motor before applying the next sound. The unique exhaust sound feature is a great addition but for those who are looking into peaceful riding, all the sounds can be turned off easily from the handlebar.
Revolt RV400 is expected to arrive with a price tag of around INR 1.10-1.20 lakh in India. The bookings for the motorcycle will open from June 25 with a token amount of INR 1000. You can pre-book the RV400 on the official website of Revolt Motors and on Amazon as well. The deliveries of the e-bike are expected to begin from the last week of July.
