Royal Enfield enjoys an exclusive fan following among all other bike makers in India. Someone may fall for Yamaha after following Honda for a long time but one who falls into RE fanclub once, there are no chances for his/her change in mind, except for one who has no budget problem and Street 750 from Harley Davidson is the next choice.
Royal Enfield is ready to solve this problem, keeping its fans in its very own lineup through the upcoming 750cc, twin cylinder motor, most probably fitted on the flagship RE bike, the Continental GT. The spyshots which were taken few months back clearly indicate that the larger RE would be first introduced in the most capable body form, the cafe racer. There are even chances that the test module may take a totally new shape in its production guise.
The Continental GT 750 may produce around 45-50 BHP of maximum power, rivaling basically the most selling Harley Davidson model, Street 750 in India. It would even end the possibility of even selling a single Hyosung GV650 in the country. Being a totally localized product for the country, it would even be the most affordable motorcycle to do so.
750cc Twin-Cylinder Royal Enfield Continental GT to launch in March 2017
If a report from Rushlane is to be believed, the same may make its debut around March 2017. The dual exhaust pipes are spotted on the testing version, which may not make way onto the production version in the same style. Royal Enfield will manufacture the same in Chennai to keep its overall costs low.
