As per the latest media reports, Royal Enfield is currently planning to introduce four new 350cc motorcycles to the Indian two-wheeler market in the coming year. Most interestingly here is good news for Bullet lovers: an all-new Bullet is also in the making and has already been codenamed J1B. This new Bullet will replace the entry-level Bullet 350 and Bullet 350 ES bikes in the company’s domestic lineup.
The brand has already debuted two 350cc bikes in the country: the Meteor 350 and MY2022 Classic 350. The Meteor 350 was launched one year ago, while the latter was launched in September this year. Both bikes are powered by the same 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC engine, which uses fuel-injected technology. According to the sources, all forthcoming 350cc bikes will be underpinned by the same J-series platform.
The bullet is one of the company’s most popular bikes in our country, and it represents perfection to its fans. The current Classic 350 was launched with 11 colour options after a complete overhaul. A few features, such as round headlights, circular-shape rear-view mirrors, and a side-slung exhaust, were kept. The current-gen Classic 350 gets a multi-reflection headlight for enhanced lighting during night rides.
Moreover, this model was offered with RE’s Tripper navigation feature as an option on the top-spec Chrome variant. During the launch, it was also mentioned that the lower version’s customers can access the feature as a “Make-It-Yours” service by the Royal Enfield. As the reports suggest that the company is working on a new Bullet, we can anticipate it to have some new features.
