The stock model of Royal Enfield Himalayan may not excite senses but the custom-made Himalayan Rooster with three wheels and reverse gear will surely make you think twice. The mod job has been done by TNT Motorcycles and it was officially commissioned by the brand itself, getting them a special edition for display at the Royal Enfield Cafe in Goa.
We have seen a lot of custom Himalayan models but none of them has multiple wheels at the back. Painted in the Black and White shade, the customizers have further offered Blue and Yellow inserts over some of the body panels. In addition to that, the trike features a completely white frame for further highlighting.
The frame of the stock Himalayan model has been carefully altered to achieve the perfect single-seat look. Opposite to the shade of body panels, the engine has been finished in matt black and mated to a custom exhaust system with the careful use of a heat shield. The front fascia is equally unique with twin round headlights that mimic the Triumph Rocket fascia.
The modifier has also equipped the trike with a Street Rod-inspired windscreen for a perfect funky look. The front fender is very short in size while the stock suspension has been replaced with long travel USD forks with golden finishing. The handlebar still stays relaxed, more like other RE models in the lineup.
The front tyre of stock Himalayan has been replaced with a thick tread unit while the rear end is completely fascinating with two off-road tyres over an axle. The Himalayan Trike is not road legal, but one can ride the same on private farmland or a beach for more fun. Mechanically, there are no changes and the Himalayan Rooster is powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder engine, producing 24.5 BHP at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
