New 350cc Royal Enfield Motorcycle Spotted Testing Ahead of Launch in India

Royal Enfield has a lot in the lineup for Indian bike enthusiasts. We have already seen the various spy images of test mules on the roads. Despite the current Covid pandemic situation, the brand is trying to maintain its commitment of launching four new bikes every year, and in accordance with that, it is now getting ready to add one more model to its current list, which is the Hunter 350cc. This is the roadster motorcycle based on the Meteor 350. Another spy shot of the forthcoming bike surfaced online thanks to Arjunan Babu.

In terms of design, Hunter has a classic retro-style design with characteristic stylistic features including a round headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a single-piece seat, and a short rear portion. The bike is outfitted with 17-inch blacked-out alloy wheels. The rear section is equipped with split grab rails, a small circular fender, and round turn taillights with turn indicators. Furthermore, the bike’s all-black motif lends it a sporty appearance. The handlebar, alloy wheels, engine case, exhaust pipe, and suspension system have all been dipped in matte black paint.

Moreover, other noteworthy features include the redesigned side panels, shortened upswept exhaust muffler, circular rearview mirrors, wide tyres and fork gaiters. Also, the riding posture seems to be really comfortable thanks to the centre-placed footpegs and a wide and tall handlebar. While talking about the mechanical specifications, the Hunter will be based on the J1D platform which props up the Meteor 350, but it will be a bit sportier.

The upcoming roadster will be powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled OHC engine that churns out 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of torque. It will be mated with a 5-speed transmission which is more refined than the previous gen. When it comes to the launch and pricing details, the company has not announced anything yet.
