2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan Price Increased: After Hero MotoCorp, Honda, Bajaj Auto, Yamaha, and TVS Motor, Royal Enfield has also started increasing the prices of their BS6-compliant motorcycles available in the Indian market. As per the details available, the recently-launched 2020 Royal Enfield Himalayan price has been increased by up to INR 2,754. The 2020 model of the RE Himalayan is powered by a BS6-compliant 411cc single-cylinder fuel-injected air-cooled engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 24.3 Bhp @ 6500 rpm with a peak torque of 32Nm @ 4000-4500 rpm.
In comparison to the BS4 model, which was good for 24.5 Bhp, the power of the adventure motorcycle has been dropped by 0.2 Bhp. The maximum torque, on the other hand, remains the same while the engine also continues to be mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the BS6-compliant model of the Himalayan has been equipped with a switchable 2-channel ABS unit in addition to the hazard light switch that is placed on the left-hand side of the instrument console, which has been further updated with a white-backlight setup.
