Royal Enfield Himalayan Sales Report: 816 Units Sold in January 2018

Royal Enfield Himalayan Sales Report: Himalayan never got the limelight that it deserved for this name. It was the worst nightmare that a successful brand like Royal Enfield could get in its lifetime. They simply could not satisfy those limited number of buyers and finally had to offer exchange of parts to those who were badly affected by that mistake.

Royal Enfield bikes are known to last decades under the most rough possible usage and Himalayan buyers got all those problems after taking it out for their first spin. The brand value of Himalayan almost ended in its first few months of availability.

Himalayan Sales Report: 816 Units Sold in January 2018

They came back with an updated version that mentions all the changes made in order to offer a stress free experience but still, Royal Enfield was unable to sell those 500 units of Himalayan Sleet in their flash sale. If this product had performed good in its early months, all those 500 units would have been sold in just few seconds.

Adventure demands much more than just specific parts as they need to undergo multiple harsh environments and still keep themselves perfectly working. Royal Enfield has claimed that all issues regarding those parts have been sorted out but sales how that no one is ready to believe this at any cost.

Royal Enfield Recently Launched Himalayan Sleet Edition in India

Himalayan sold just 816 units in January 2018 while similarly priced other bikes were good for almost 2.5k units from Royal Enfield. People still believe that buying a Classic and riding it slowly on rough roads is better than going for a Himalayan and riding faster.

Himalayan comes with a capable engine that offers 24.5 BHP at 6500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4250 rpm. It weighs 191 kg and offers 15 liters of fuel carrying capacity. Buyers can mount fuel carrying bags on the tank for tough times. It even comes with stock mounts to support luggage carrying accessories.
