Royal Enfield Meteor 350 India Launch Next Month: As per the latest details available, the much-awaited 350cc Meteor cruiser motorcycle would be launching in India next month. Earlier, the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350’s replacement was expected to be launched in April 2020 but due to the Coronavirus lockdown, the brand had halted all the operations back at its manufacturing units from March 23, 2020.
The brand resumed the manufacturing operations in June and the RE Meteor 350 was expected to launch in July, but it didn’t happen, and the launch got delayed once again. We hope that Royal Enfield won’t be pushing the launch further and they would launch the Meteor 350 next month. In terms of pricing, it is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.70 lakhs.
The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will come equipped with a fuel-injected engine complying to the new BS6 emission norms. The front fascia of the motorcycle has been adorned with a round halogen headlight unit mated to LED DRLs. The teardrop fuel tank has been taken from the current-gen Thunderbird 350 variant while the split seat setup adds to its authenticity.
Coming to the new features, the Meteor cruiser is equipped with a single-pod instrument cluster with an LCD panel. In addition to this, the instrument console also features a notification unit surrounding the same. The brand has further equipped a smaller unit adjacent to the LCD screen though its functionality is not known as of yet.
In terms of the overall profile, the Royal Enfield Meteor features identical design language as that of the Thunderbird X while featuring a Meteor 350 badging on the toolbox. The brand has offered the fuel tank of the motorcycle with a bright yellow/red colour scheme while similar coloured accents can also be seen on the wheels.
