Royal Enfield Rider Spotted Testing New 650cc Bike in India

One of the Royal Enfield test riders has been recently spotted testing a new 650cc twin-cylinder motorcycle in India, which could be the much-anticipated Classic 650. The spy pictures displayed a few of the features of the motorcycle. It has been revealed in the spy images that the bike has a classic round headlight with a cowl over it. Apart from that, it has a twin-pod instrument console, curvy fuel tank, twin-sided exhausts and a round taillight as well. The motorcycle looks very classy and has a conventionally designed headlamp and tail light.

The tripper navigation system can be seen in the images and the hardware of the motorcycle comprises upside-down forks at the front and to handle the rear suspension tasks, it has twin-sided springs. The motorcycle rides on the modern style alloy wheels with single discs on both wheels. If you look at the ergonomics of the Classic 650, they are good and are quite appealing. Royal Enfield is expected to launch the Classic 650 in India next year and its feasible price can be around Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom).

Other details including the mechanical information of this motorcycle have not been released yet but it is believed that this bike will surely come with a powerful engine just like the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Both the bikes are very powerful and churn out 47 bhp of power and a max torque of 52Nm and the engine is coupled with a 6-speed gearbox.

The Chennai-based 2-wheeler brand Royal Enfield is going to launch a lot of new motorcycles in the 650cc and 350cc segments, which may include the Super Meteor 650, Shotgun 650, Scram 411 as well as the Hunter 350 and can be seen on the Indian roads in the next few months.
