Royal Enfield Scram 411 Price, Features & Accessories Leaked

Royal Enfield has been working on the new version of the Himalayan for quite some time now. The upcoming bike has been spotted during road testing several times, disclosing its features and capabilities. Now, ahead of its official launch, the brochure has been leaked and revealed that the motorcycle will be named Scram 411. The leaked brochure images are courtesy of the Youtube channel Bullet Guru. It’s also been disclosed that official Royal Enfield Himalayan Scram 411 accessories such as t-shirts and keychains have also arrived at the dealership.

To kick off with the design and styling, the all-new Scram 411 has the same basic profile as the Himalayan. It maintains the retro theme, as evidenced by the round headlamps and rear-view mirrors. Other details, such as fork gaiters, fuel tank design, wide handlebar, chassis, split seats, an upswept exhaust, are identical to the Himalayan. Royal Enfield has eliminated several of its parts to give it more road-biasedness. Scram 411, for instance, lacks front and rear dedicated racks. It has small tank shrouds in the front and a single-piece grab rail in the back.

Furthermore, the RE Himalayan Scram 411 has smaller 19-inch front wheels, as opposed to the Himalayan’s 21-inch unit. Scram doesn’t have a windscreen or a raised front fender in the front. As for the instrument console, the forthcoming bike gets a digital analogue with an offset speedometer, but it misses the Tripper navigation system. However, Tripper might be offered as an accessory.

In terms of powertrain, the engine will be the same 411cc unit that is currently used in the Himalayan. The air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC motor produces 24.3 bhp and 32 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 5-speed transmission. It is possible that the engine will be slightly retuned to meet the demands of a road-biased motorcycle. As far as the launch is concerned, it is most likely to be launched later this month, and the dealer training has started already.

Coming to the pricing, according to Bullet Guru, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 will launch in the Indian markets with an ex-showroom price tag of around 1.95 lakhs while the on-road price will hover around 2.25 lakhs.
