Futuristic Suzuki GSX-8S Naked Motorcycle Officially Revealed

Suzuki has revealed the GSX-8S naked motorcycle. It is positioned in the lineup between the SV650 and the GSX-S1000. This bike is powered by a brand-new 776cc parallel-twin engine that is liquid-cooled.

The Suzuki GSX-8S is a brand-new middleweight naked motorcycle from the Hamamatsu-based manufacturer. Its brand-new 776cc engine produces 81.8 hp at 8,500rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800rpm. Suzuki has fitted this new mill with its patented Suzuki Cross Balancer. It reduces vibrations while also allowing for a more compact engine design.

This engine is housed in a brand-new steel frame with an exposed trellis subframe. KYB provides the suspension, which consists of a 41mm USD fork and a mono-shock. A pair of 310mm twin front discs and a 240mm single rear disc comes standard with a dual-channel ABS.

The tyre sizes are standard, with a 120/70-ZR17 up front and a 180/55-ZR17 up back. The Suzuki wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres.

A bidirectional quick shifter, three riding modes, and three traction control settings round out the package. All these features are monitored by a brand-new 5-inch TFT dash. Suzuki’s Easy Start System, which allows you to start the bike with a single push of a button, is also available.

The bike shares the same design language as its elder sibling, the GSX-S1000, but with its own twist. The stacked LED headlight and integrated rear tail lamp have been retained.

The GSX-8S comes in three different colours: white, blue, and black. LED indicators, crash protection, soft luggage options, a pillion-seat cowl, and heated grips are among the accessories available.

It remains to be seen whether the bike makes it to India. Given that Suzuki’s big-bike lineup currently lacks a middleweight naked model, the GSX-8S could be a perfect fit.
