2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 Live Photos Leaked: Suzuki is all set to launch the updated model of the 150cc Gixxier SF in India on May 20. The motorcycle has started reaching the dealerships, and the live photos of the upcoming full-faired sports bike have surfaced online, and we must say that the bike looks massive in size, especially from the rear end. As expected, the 150cc model is heavily inspired by the upcoming Gixxer SF 250, and sports similar design lines.
The front end of the bike now comes equipped with a sharp-looking single all-LED headlight. The side fairing now looks more aerodynamic, edgy, and streamlined with the overall design profile of the motorcycle.
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 continues to be equipped with a double-barrel exhaust but it gets a slightly updated design with interesting chrome elements. Apart from the all-new design, the upgraded model also gets a new white-backlit all-digital instrument console, which is also bigger in size in comparison to the console of the last-gen model.
Mechanically, the motorcycle is expected to be powered by the same 154.9cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which is capable to produce a maximum power figure of 14.8 HP at 8000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 14 NM at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
According to some of the reports, it is being said that the new engine will be BS6-compliant and it may generate slightly higher power and torque values. But we can’t confirm the same as of yet. The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 is expected to get a single-channel ABS unit like the last-gen model. Some of the other key highlights of the updated SF 150 are a clip-on handlebar, a new split seat, and a set of attractive graphics and decals.
The 150cc SF model is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 1.05 lakh, while the 250cc model will be priced around INR 1.50-1.60 lakh. The complete technical specifications of the 250cc version have also leaked online, you can click here to know more about the SF 250.
