Finally, the spy pics of the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer 250 street fighter have surfaced online. ‘Bike Advice’ has managed to leak a couple of photos which reveal some of the key details for the bike. The naked Gixxer 250 carries the same alloy wheel plus tyre setup and the bike is also expected to feature the same braking unit including the double channel ABS like the Gixxer SF 250. But there is one minor change, the street fighter version does get rim stripes which add on to its sporty look along with black coloured mudguard.
The bike will also come with a body-coloured underbelly engine guard as well as tank extensions which displays the ‘Gixxer 250’ moniker. The side top-view for the bike showcases a silver stripe on the fuel tank while you can also spot the knuckle guards, which are mounted on a standard rod-type handlebar. For a relaxed seating posture, the handlebar has been slightly raised on the naked Gixxer 250. The cockpit of the naked variant will feature the same all-digital instrument cluster and as the bike has no fairing, the rear-view mirrors are mounted on the handlebar.
Mechanically, the bike will be powered by the same 249cc, oil-cooled, SOHC motor which produces 26.5 HP of power at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 7500 rpm. We can expect the naked Gixxer 250 to be priced around INR 15,000 less than its full-faired version which is available with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.71 lakh.
