Suzuki Gixxer 250 streetfighter has been launched in India at a price tag of INR 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The naked motorcycle is based on the fully-faired Gixxer SF 250 that was recently launched in the Indian market in May 2019. Launched in the premium segment, the Gixxer 250 can be availed in the market in two colour variants namely: Metallic Matte Platinum Silver/Metallic Matte Black and a Matte Black colour. For the recently launched motorcycle, the brand ensures improved performance and better aerodynamics.
Powering the Suzuki Gixxer 250 naked motorcycle is the same 249cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 26.5 HP at 9000 rpm and a peak torque of 22.6 Nm at 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has been mated to dual-channel ABS for additional safety. Like the Gixxer SF 250, the street model is also equipped with Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS).
Taking styling cues from the Gixxer SF 250, the Gixxer 250 gets a gold coloured finish on the engine casing. The motorcycle gets a fully-digital instrument console, double-barrel exhaust with chrome detailing and multi-spoke black alloy wheels. The rear end of the motorcycle is also based on the design language of Gixxer SF 250. The Gixxer 250 streetfighter has been specifically launched by the brand to strengthen its hold as a youth brand in the Indian market.
