Suzuki has recently launched the Gixxer SF 150 MotoGP Edition and the bike has started reaching the dealerships. Getting only a premium of INR 735 higher than the standard SF version, the motorcycle with MotoGP livery is priced at INR 1.11 lakh (ex-showroom). The walkaround video of the motorcycle gives a clear insight into all the details of the special edition motorcycle.
The Gixxer SF MotoGP Edition gets a GSX-R inspired blue paint scheme with Suzuki Ecstar decals on the fairing. The motorcycle features contrasting yellow graphics on the body as well as on the alloy wheels. The customers can now avail the Suzuki Gixxer SF 150 in three colour options which include the standard Sparkle Black shade, Metallic Sonic Silver, and the new MotoGP livery edition.
Mechanically, the Gixxer SF 150 MotoGP edition has not been offered any changes. It continues to be powered by a 154.9cc air-cooled, 2-valve, SOHC, fuel-injected engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 14.1 HP at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 pm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The braking duties on the motorcycle are handled by disc brakes on either end though, the brand has equipped the facelifted SF 150 with a single-channel ABS unit as standard.
