Top 25 Best-Selling Bikes in India [June 2017]

Top 25 most-selling motorcycles of India saw a steep decline in overall sales due to GST surprise. The changes in the ranking was quite considerable with first four slots going right into the Hero MotoCorp lineup. As expected, Hero Splendor saw 2,19,103 units in sale in June 2017 while HF Deluxe sold 1,54,655 units during the same period.

These two share the same 97.2 cc engine and have been in top 5 from last few years. Hero’s recently launched Glamour took the third position with 78,889 units while Passion was good for 76,605 units in sale. Honda CB Shine sold 69,108 units and became the fifth most selling motorcycle in India.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 sold 42,149 units in June 2017, overtaking all other motorcycles with the same capacity engine with a large margin. Bajaj Pulsar series stood seventh with 37,503 units while TVS Apache followed close with 32,742 units. Ninth and tenth slot went to Bajaj CT 100 and Honda Dream with 24,776 and 23,126 units respectively.

Honda Livo was good for 22,598 units while Unicorn series followed closely with 20,959 units. Bajaj Platina and TVS Sport were the last motorcycles to stay above the 15k mark with 20,689 and 18,135 units respectively.

Others in the list includes Yamaha FZ, TVS Star City, RE Bullet 350, Honda CB Hornet 160R, Hero Achiever, Bajaj V15, Suzuki Gixxer, Bajaj Discover 125, Yamaha Saluto, RE Thunderbird 350 and Bajaj V12. All of these are named in the order of declining sales till they reach the 25th spot.
