The 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 has been recently spotted testing on the Indian roads and features a dual-tone colour scheme. One of the most anticipated motorcycles under the brand’s portfolio, TVS will be offering the updated BS6 model of the sports bike at an on-road price tag of INR 2.98 lakhs which carries a premium of INR 40,000 when compared to the price tag of the BS4 variant.
All thanks to a Maxabout enthusiast, we now have multiple videos of the all-new fully-digital coloured TFT instrument console offered to the motorcycle. The brand has officially redesigned the console into a vertical tab unit that offers multiple functions and proper riding dynamics.
In one of the videos, the instrument panel features ‘Urban’ mode written on top which specifically indicates multiple riding modes offered to the 2020 TVS Apache RR 310. In addition to the urban riding mode, one can expect the motorcycle to feature street, rain as well as sport riding modes.
Apart from this, the instrument panel shown in the videos offers various other riding statistics like top speed, fuel range, coolant temperature, odometer rating and more. The four switch controls offered at the left side of the handlebar further allows the rider to control the data on the TFT display.
One can also expect the console to feature Bluetooth connectivity which will further allow the rider to connect their smartphones with the console via a dedicated TVS application. Another video of the 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 shows the motorcycle in all its glory. The brand has also revised the tyres on the updated sports machine and it now features Michelin Road 5 tyres on either end.
Coming to the mechanical updates, the brand has equipped the motorcycle with a BS6-compliant engine which is expected to get revised power and torque figures when compared to the one offered by the BS4 variant of the motorcycle. One can also expect the 2020 TVS Apache RR 310 BS6 variant to offer better fuel efficiency.
