According to a recent report by Team-BHP, the on-road price tag of the BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 has been leaked ahead of its official launch. The BS6-compliant model of the sportbike will be available at a price tag of INR 2,98,000, getting an increase in the price by INR 38,870 from its BS4 price tag of INR 2,59,130 (on-road). The new price tag of the motorcycle will be applicable from January 1, 2020. In addition to this, the BS6 price tags of the rest of the TVS motorcycles and scooters have also surfaced online. Nothing has been revealed yet regarding the new power and torque figures of the BS6-compliant engine on the RR 310 though one can expect them to vary when compared to the power and torque offered by current-gen BS4 variant.
At present, powering the TVS Apache RR 310 BS4 variant is a 313cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is capable to generate a maximum power of 34HP @ 9700 rpm and an utmost torque of 27.3Nm @ 7700 rpm. The engine is mated to 6-speed gearbox mated to a race-tuned slipper clutch.
Like the BS4 model, the BS6 TVS Apache RR 310 will also feature disc brakes at either side while the dual-channel ABS will be offered as standard. The suspension duties on the motorcycle will be handled by USD telescopic front forks while the rear end will be equipped with an adjustable monoshock unit. The brand is expected to officially launch the BS6 model of the Apache RR 310 in the coming days.
