TVS Graphite Spied Testing in India: The much-awaited scooter Graphite was once again spied testing in India with a complete camouflage. The scooter will rank number one in terms of equipment on offer as it was recently seen with a fully digital instrument console and beautifully crafted alloy wheels.
As these features are exclusive to the Graphite in TVS lineup, the only possible rival for this premium scooter in Indian market is Honda Grazia. It took almost four years for TVS Graphite to turn into a full fledged scooter from the Auto Expo 2014 Concept. The sporty Graphite comes with 12-inch tyres and uses a thinner seat than rival scooters.
Some reports are even confirming that the screen used as instrument console with support GPS navigation and make TVS Graphite the first product in its segment to offer such an important feature. Irfan has reported that this scooter comes with a throaty, sport bike like exhaust note.
TVS Graphite is expected to be a good looking sporty scooter with equal emphasis on rider comfort and pillion space. The fuel filler is external and located right after the pillion seat. The taillight design of the scooter was hidden while one can clearly see the integrated turn indicators into the body.
A report in the automotive industry also hints at bigger 150cc model from the Graphite design. If that comes handy soon, buyers will get a good competition of the same with Aprilia SR150. No scooter in India currently matches the performance and agility on offer by 150cc Aprilia.
