Ntorq 125 Could be the Official Name of TVS Graphite, Unveil on Feb 5

If a recent report in Indian automotive segment is to be believed, TVS Ntorq 125 will be the production name for Graphite Concept in India. It was seen at various occasions during the testing phase.

Production version will be officially unveiled on Feb 5, 2018 while fans could feel the product’s presence at Auto Expo 2018 from Feb 9 to Feb 14. TVS has officially released a teaser video for Ntorq 125 that shows the illumination pattern of its tail light. Along with that, Ntorq 125’s throaty exhaust sound guarantees shivers for all rival brands. It may attract more buyers into the scooter segment.

TVS Ntorq is expected to generate around 11.5 HP from its 125cc engine. If this comes to be true, it will sweep away every possible speed record for this highly appreciated segment. Present day market offers Honda Activa 125, Grazia 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Vespa 125cc series of scooters for competition.

Ntorq 125 will place itself directly against Grazia as all others carry the traditional scooter design. Also, Aprilia SR150 will be an indirect rival for Ntorq 125 as both will prove their sporty worth at every point in Indian automotive industry.

Ntorq 125 will be based on the Graphite Concept Scooter

TVS Ntorq sounds better in comparison and seems to carry an Apache inspired tone. This will surely excite young buyers and thus, TVS will get a chance to push sales target to one bit higher than before. The name Ntorq is inspired from last Auto Expo’s Entorq concept.

It was a huge scooter with an engine bigger than Apache 200. It seems that TVS will bring bigger models under the Ntorq name as it could serve them as a scooter alternate to Apache series for future buyers. If they bring Ntorq 125 on Feb 5, 2018 and showcase the scooter at Auto Expo 2018, it could be an instant hit among the masses.
