Yamaha R15 has a good number of fans all around the world. The third generation of this motorcycle dubbed R15 Version 3.0 is even one of the most awaited motorcycle currently. A recent rendering of this motorcycle has shown the version 3.0 as a sharp, R3 inspired machine with full LED headlights.

Yamaha has been refreshing its R15 with new colors after a fixed time interval, making the model look fresh and upmarket. Indonesian websites are reporting about a new version for the Yamaha R15 as the new Honda CBR150R and KTM RC200 have been killing the sales of this Yamaha slowly. R15 is expected to carry the same 150 cc engine while it is expected to be tuned for better performance in the next version.

The official launch for the same is expected in 2017 for the Indian market while Indonesian market can have it by the end of this year. The current generation R15 is offered in two body styles and comes powered by the same 16.8 BHP, 149.8 cc engine.
