The first-gen Yamaha FZ you see here has been modified by ‘Gear Gear Motorcycles’ and the modifier has turned the FZ into a slimmer machine that looks pretty similar to the legendary RX 100. The Yamaha FZ16 was completely stripped down to get the idea of placing custom components, starting with an RX 100 fuel tank and a custom-built flat seat.
Removing all the panels left the side panels exposed while the modifier has finished the same in the black shade to help the yellow fuel tank express its scrambler feel. The stock exhaust has also been replaced with a custom exhaust system while the rear LED strip has been placed right where the seat ends.
The front disc brake and the rear drum brake combination have been kept the same as the stock model of the old Yamaha FZ. The ribbed seat pattern has been replicated on the fuel tank with black graphics. The modifier has equipped the custom-made motorcycle with a round halogen headlight.
The stock handlebar has been replaced with a scrambler racer unit while the bar-end mirrors further improve the overall look of this typical FZ. The use of wide dual-purpose tyres with spoke rims at both ends make it exclusive and also helps in increasing the ride height of the motorcycle.
