Yamaha FZ25 was launched with a surprisingly great price tag of INR 1,19,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The deliveries for the motorcycle were scheduled for February 2017 and the stock has reached a number of dealerships around India. The same is available in Ballistic Blue, Knight Black and Warrior White with all the colors being available at most locations. If everything goes as planned, the motorcycle’s presence could be felt pan India in the current month.

The motorcycle costs around INR 1.35-1.40 lakh (on-road) in most cities. It is powered by 249 cc, single cylinder engine that comes with oil cooling and fuel injection. The motor is a relaxed rider’s delight, producing 20.69 BHP at 8000 rpm and 20 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. If this seems less on the part of Yamaha, they have given full LED headlight on the new FZ25. It even borrows few design lines from the MT series.
Yamaha has claimed a fuel efficiency of 43 kmpl for the new FZ25. As per the report from a buyer who recently got the delivery of his FZ25, it returned around 38 kmpl of mileage in the first drive. The motorcycle is something different than other Indian 250 cc options as all are focused on top speed and acceleration while Yamaha believed more in presence and stable riding. Yamaha FZ25 would be a hassle free riding partner for many Indian bike lovers.
