Yamaha FZS V3 ABS has been launched in India for INR 97,000 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle is available in three dual-tone shades and comes with the same reliable 149cc, single cylinder engine. The output also stays 13.2 HP and 12.8 Nm for the motorcycle. The third generation model comes with a standard dual disc, single-channel ABS and an all-new LED headlight. The console is also all-new, featuring an inverted colour pattern for a sporty effect.
The one-piece grabrail, single long seat, and MT inspired fuel tank makes FZS V3 ABS a different option in comparison to the second generation model. The FZS V2 was available for INR 84,000 for the single disc and INR 87,000 for the dual disc model. This means that Yamaha is taking INR 10,000 for the ABS and additional features on the motorcycle. FZS V3 ABS uses a 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brake as standard.
The FZS V2 variant came with an additional windscreen in comparison to FZ V2 while FZS V3 ABS comes with an additional belly pan in comparison to its cousin. The use of chrome is also exclusive to the FZS variant.
