After reviving Jawa Motorcycles in the country, Classic Legends is all set to resurrect the iconic Yezdi brand in the Indian market. After being spotted testing multiple times, the brand has officially teased the upcoming Roadking motorcycle on its social media channels.
However, nothing much has been revealed in the teaser, despite the glimpse of the outer profile. But now Classic Legends has shared another teaser with a date mentioned in it. As per the new teaser, the iconic Yezdi brand is making a comeback on January 13th, 2022, on the occasion of the Lohri festival.
The brand has also used the tagline “Another Ressuerction Coming Soon,” which only indicates the Roadking Adventure motorcycle. This forthcoming Roadking is potentially the modern iteration of the iconic motorcycle from the past. In addition to the Roadking, Yezdi is also planning to launch a full-size adventure motorcycle, which was also spotted undisguised recently.
Starting with the front end, the all-new Yezdi Adventure gets both high and low-set fenders. The instrument cluster is also high-set, and there is a round headlight, handguards, and a flyscreen. Other notable highlights include the fuel tank with sharp lines, the split-style seat, simple side panels with the model name and an upswept exhaust. The 2022 Yezdi ADV rides on wire-spoked wheels, which are further assisted by disc brakes on both ends.
The upcoming Yezdi motorcycles are likely to be powered by the Jawa Perak’s 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is capable of churning out 30.64 PS and 32.74 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
