New BMW G310RR Teaser – It Is A Rebadged TVS Apache RR 310

BMW Motorrad India has shared the teaser video of its upcoming G310RR bike on its social media handles. This sporty bike is slated to be launched in the country on July 15, 2022. From the teaser video, the bike is supposed to be the fully-faired rebadged TVS Apache RR310. Speaking of the indications we got through the teaser, these include various body elements.

We can see that the bike boasts dual shark-fin LED taillights. The tail-light design appears to be comparable to that of the RR310. In addition, the visor, clip-on handlebar, mirrors, and grip rail design are also reminiscent of the fully-faired Apache RR310. The similarities don’t end here, since the alloy wheel design is also identical to the Apache bike. Besides this, the forthcoming BMW G310RR is most likely to sport RR310-derived Bi-LED projector headlights and LED indicators.

As far as the frame and suspension are concerned, the bike is expected to be developed on a trellis frame and subframe while the suspension could be handled by the adaptable upside-down front fork and the preload and rebound adjustable mono-shock at the rear. We can safely assume the bike will come with a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. The German marque is anticipated to make some cosmetic changes to the BMW G310RR to give it a typical BMW bike appearance.

Talking about the mechanics of the 2022 BMW G310RR, it might be offered with a 312cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which is paired with a six-speed gearbox and churns out 34bhp of power and a peak torque of 27.3Nm in the Apache RR310. As for pricing, the new G310RR can be offered with a price tag of around Rs 3 lakh. More details will come out with the official launch of the bike, so stay tuned.
