3 OLA Electric Cars Are Coming To India On August 15, 2022

Ola Electric has provided a sneak preview of its concept cars, and up to three additional EVs are in the works. The vehicles were unveiled during the company’s Customer Day celebrations at its Future Factory. A hatchback, a sedan, and a big SUV coupe are among the three EVs. More details related to the upcoming cars will be out on August 15 this year.

First, the hatchback has a sharp front end with a high bumper lip for greater aerodynamics. The linked LED headlight runs between the front recess and the dual lights on either side are like those on the future Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV. The C pillar abruptly stops at the back on a rear boot protrusion that houses the associated LED tail lamps.

The sedan’s general style is reminiscent of the now-discontinued Ford Aspire compact sedan, particularly the rear with its curving tail. All three vehicles have integrated head and tail lamps. The sedan has a streamlined shape with a short rear boot and some sharp lines. The nicely angled rear glass area blends seamlessly with the trunk. The rear sports dual-LED running tail lights and a huge brushed silver skid plate is present at the bottom.

Finally, the SUV coupe appears to be large with very limited detailing in the front. The front bumper has a carbon fibre appearance and appears to be too curled for an SUV. It has a lot of folds for a busy effect. There are pure muscles everywhere on the sides. The flowing lines, bulging panels, and expanded length scream SUV. For a genuine coupe look, the back gets a sloping roofline.

Ola might offer a massive battery capacity of 70 to 80 kWh with extremely strong motors, primarily in all-wheel-drive avatars. The business plans to introduce one of these three EVs as early as next year. According to sources, it will cost less than Rs. 10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
