Auto Expo 2018 Cars | Upcoming Cars: India’s biggest auto show, Auto Expo will start on Feb 9, 2017. The show will host a number of car brands under a single roof, flashing their future products through impressive concepts and making things clear for the coming year. As motorcycle segment saw a 50:50 scope of brand arrival for the show, car brands seem willing to showcase the products at the prime auto show.
Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest car manufacturer, is expected to bring a long list of products at Auto Expo 2018. Most important of all is the all-new Swift, sharing design lines with the recently launched Maruti Dzire. Tata Motors will also bring two products, one based on the RaceMo design while other rivaling the SUV segment.
Honda and Ford will try bringing a Creta rival to India as this segment brings high volumes and has lot of scope for the coming years. Maruti Alto is also expected to receive a major design change as Renault Kwid and others have taken a considerable chunk of this segment.
Indian born Mahindra will also bring a perfect Innova rival as XUV500 is more about SUV segment than an MPV rival. Toyota is even expected to consider a product (Rush, most probably) for a lower segment. It is even possible that they consider giving Etios range a break and bring better looking products for user ratings at the show. Toyota will also showcase the C-HR compact SUV @ Auto Expo 2018.
Hyundai Creta will receive its first ever face-lift while Honda Civic can even be one new rival to existing premium sedans. Hyundai’s recently spied Santro and i20 Face-lift is also expected to get an official entry through Auto Expo 2018. Mahindra may even consider the new XUV700 as an Endeavour rival. Maruti can even consider showcasing the bigger Vitara S at Auto Expo. Kia Picanto, Soul and Sportage can also make their public debut.
