Meet Ferrari Portofino! New to the supercar segment, entry of Portofino made it the most powerful convertible at INR 3.5 Crore. Although it looks like a perfect hardtop, the retractable feature makes things great in both cases. Even after the roof goes off, Portofino is good for two full grown adults as rear seats are recommended for short trips only. Do not underestimate the performance specs of this car as its powerful V8 engine is good for nothing less than 600 CV (591 HP) and 0-100 kph sprint time of 3.5 seconds. That makes this four-seat luxury convertible good for 320 kph of top speed.
Ferrari has tweaked the running dynamics of the earlier setup to get better dynamics and higher resulting performance from the car. Owners will experience zero turbo lag with one piece cast exhaust header that helps in reducing the power loss. The move also makes the car good for lower fuel consumption than current generation models. As it replaces California T from the company lineup, Ferrari Portofino uses a lighter chassis and body components. It is the first GT model to get electric power steering and a third generation electronic slip differential. The overall design is quite impressive while Portofino looks actually stunning with roof packed inside the rear space.
The car comes with a 10.2-inch touchscreen display for infotainment purpose, all new steering wheel, a better air conditioner that works well with both open and closed roof, electrically (18 way) adjustable seats, new backrest design and better wind deflectors that cut up to 30 percent of air flow from the cabin. It measures 4586 mm in length, 1938 mm in width and 1318 mm in height. The 3855cc, V8 engine is good for 600 CV at 7500 rpm and 760 Nm at 3000-5250 rpm. Ferrari claims 10.5 liters of fuel consumption every 100 kilometers for Portofino.
