2018 Honda Amaze Bookings Now Open: Honda has started accepting bookings for their all new compact sedan in India as it can be launched anytime in May 2018. The booking amount for pre-booking is INR 21,000. The design language is highly inspired from current generation cars like Civic and Accord (both not available in India presently).
A sudden flat nose may sound unusual to many here but most developed markets have already accepted the trend. This design language helps the car look bigger than its sub 4 meter length and more than that, allows more headroom for sure in the back seat. Bonnet is even seen in a commanding position.
Honda has listed the model through a special page that gives brief introduction of this model by highlighting its top features. All new Amaze is using white back-lit instrument console that looks elegant and perfect in collaboration with the new steering wheel.
An upcoming buyer will surely love to sit in the driver’s seat as Honda has made the cabin much more premium than ever. They have equipped the new Amaze with Floating Digipad 2.0 for AVN purposes, cruise control, paddle shift, push start button and CVT gearbox for their frugal diesel engine.
Honda Amaze will be the first car of its segment to offer paddle shifters in India. Not just that, diesel CVT option is also heir first in segment feature as rivals are equipped with either AMT or a traditional automatic gearbox.
Rivals of all new Honda Amaze are Tata Tigor, Maruti Dzire, Ford Aspire, Hyundai Xcent and Volkswagen Ameo. This update will surely help Amaze gain that much required space in this segment as Maruti dominates the sub 4 meter cars with their all new Dzire. Honda Amaze will use its much appreciated 1.2L petrol and 1.5L diesel engine from their earlier version.
