2018 Honda Jazz is now official, carrying an updated starting price of INR 7.35 lakh and going all the way up to INR 9.29 lakh. The premium hatchback comes with four trims for the petrol and three for the diesel engine, happily dropping E variant from both and S from the petrol engine.
The only problem that Honda may face is a higher than usual starting price as Hyundai i20 range start at just INR 5.40 lakh. The petrol engine is available in V and VX variant, getting a CVT gearbox option for both trims while S, V, and VX variant with a diesel engine uses a manual gearbox.
The difference between petrol and diesel engine on 2018 Honda Jazz is astonishingly high at INR 1.50 lakh. The petrol option is a 1.2L, four-cylinder engine producing 90HP while diesel power comes from a 100HP, 1.5L, turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
The CVT variant comes with paddle shifters and, cruise control is available on both CVT and diesel option. The VX variant comes with leather-wrapped steering and gear knob, electric folding mirrors and a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and inbuilt navigation system.
