Honda Small RS Concept Officially Unveiled in Indonesia

2018 Indonesia Motor Show introduced the world to all new Honda Small RS Concept. Looking glamorized from head to toe, this car may not be actually what fans started thinking after the first look.

Honda is not preparing something smaller but equally sporty to Civic hatchback as this concept most probably highlights the sporty design cues of 2019 Honda Brio.

Yes, the aged design of Brio will get a makeover soon as carrying the Honda Amaze face on a hatchback would not have been a good option. That design is also derived from flagship international spec Honda Accord sedan.

Honda Small RS Concept comes finished in Phoenix Orange Pearl shade and wears full body kit with hood scoop, rear spoiler, air vents in fender and much more. One can even spot over-sized alloy wheels that may never reach production.

Rear end seems highly inspired from Ford Figo as lights are more or less similar in design. Honda Thailand has prepared this version out of similar named Honda New Small Concept. The brand gave up with all glass back design and now uses traditional boot screen with spoiler available on this variant. It comes with piano black ORVM and door handles.

Small RS Concept flaunts two silver lined exhaust positions and front splitter for even more sporty appeal. Sides and rear also flaunt same shade highlights through this kit on its lower outline. Current generation Brio RS is sold in Indonesia with 1.2L, four cylinder petrol engine producing 89 HP and 109 Nm.

This engine offers a choice between CVT and 5-speed manual gearbox. Honda should bring this second generation Brio design to India as buyers do not have a choice of product that competes Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10. It will stay well if placed under INR 5 lakh for base variant.
