New Honda Amaze World Debut in February 2018: Honda Amaze was first introduced in 2013 and can be credited with the crown of most proportionately built compact sedan in India.
Honda fans would love to know that their favorite brand is working all time to get them a much more luxurious experience on both inside and outside. Global unveil for the product is planned for Auto Expo 2018. The 2nd generation Honda Amaze will get spacious interiors and much sharper front look than the present generation car.
The car got a face-lift in 2016 but the brand has decided to bring the new Amaze in India in 2018. Honda will offer higher cabin precision through an all-new dashboard, better interior space and use of high quality materials.
These plans also includes the increase in width by a considerable margin, helping easy movement of three passengers in the back seat area. Honda City will be the biggest inspiration for next generation Amaze as the brand is using almost the same design of headlight among all the car.
It is to be seen whether the Brio also comes under the same scanner and gets sharper front fascia at Auto Expo 2018. Honda is planning six new models in next three years and Amaze seems to be the highest volume generator among all others.
Honda will rely on the same platform as it will keep the overall cost under check. Length will be restricted under 4 meter and hence, road presence will stay almost the same as present generation car. Engines powering the new Amaze are also expected to stay the same as before.
The 1.2L, four cylinder petrol engine on the car is good for 86.8 BHP at 6000 rpm and 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. The diesel engine is even more powerful at 98.6 BHP at 3600 rpm and 200 Nm at 1750 rpm. Both the engines are offered with a 5-speed gearbox.
