The first set of official photos of the Honda Breeze SUV has been revealed by the brand. The new SUV will be sold in addition to the CR-V in the Chinese market. There hasn’t been any confirmation made on the arrival of Honda Breeze in the Indian market though, it is highly unlikely to make its way to India. Honda will be manufacturing the SUV in partnership with its local partner Guangzhou Motors in China.
Comparing the Honda Breeze with the CR-V, the brand has offered a slightly longer profile to the former though, both the SUVs feature the same width and height. Taking styling cues from the front profile of the Honda Accord and the Amaze, the Breeze SUV features an angular grille at the front with a thick chrome band at the top. The front profile of the SUV has also been tweaked to offer it a more modern stance while the brand has equipped it with premium features.
The SUV features square headlight design with LED DRLs while the bumper design remains the same as that of the Honda CR-V. The brand is likely to equip the Breeze SUV with minor changes when it comes to upholstery and design though, the five-seat setup will remain identical to the CR-V. Powering the Honda Breeze will be a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that is capable of generating maximum power of 193HP. The engine will be mated to an automatic transmission.
The customers can avail the Honda Breeze in China in two variants namely Standard and Black. The brand will be offering the latter one with blacked-out alloy wheels, wing mirrors as well as certain other premium bits.
As per one of the recent updates, Honda is planning to launch the HR-V in the Indian market. In addition to this, the brand is also planning on introducing an all-new compact SUV in India that will be replacing the Honda WR-V though, there hasn’t been any revelation on the same.
