Hyundai Alcazar 7-Seater SUV Leaked Ahead of Launch: The much-awaited 7-seater version of Creta has leaked online ahead of its official launch in the Indian markets. Known as Alcazar, the SUV is all set to launch in the country on April 7, 2021. Hyundai recently also revealed the official sketch of the upcoming car’s interior and as per the details available, like the 2021 Tata Safari, Alcazar will also be available with two seating options: 6-seater and 7-seater.

Ahead of the launch, the 3D renderings of Hyundai Alcazar have been posted online by Hum3D. Talking about the looks, the brand has equipped the Alcazar 7-seater SUV with a different front grille, a slightly updated headlight section, a new front bumper, and an all-new rear end section to differentiate the car from the current-gen Hyundai Creta, which is a 5-seater SUV. The length of the Hyundai Creta has been increased to accommodate the third row of passengers while the wheelbase has also been increased. In addition to this, the floating roof design in the Alcazar also remains similar when compared to the Creta.

The customers will be able to get their hands on the 7-seater Creta with three powertrain options namely a 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol engine that will be good for 115HP and 144Nm, a 1.4L turbocharged petrol unit good for 140HP and 242Nm as well as a 1.5L turbocharged diesel engine that will be good for 115HP and 250Nm.

All the engine variants will be available with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard while the customers can also avail of a 7-speed DCT gearbox (1.4L Petrol), a CVT gearbox (1.5L Petrol), and a 6-speed torque converter AT gearbox (1.5L Diesel) as an option.

In terms of pricing, one can expect the Hyundai Alcazar to get a starting price tag of around INR 10.50-11.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
