Hyundai Creta is a superstar, described clearly as the urban SUV that takes seven-digit investment and still scores consistent five-digit sales number from a long time. The factor that backs this claim is the proportionate design and practical engine options on the car. The recently revealed Hyundai Creta Diamond Concept takes the overall equipment list to the next level, adding features that were only imagined before its arrival. 2018 Sao Paulo Motor Show had this amazing concept that brings a panoramic sunroof, 19-inch alloy wheels and Blue exterior paint finish. The exterior features redesigned bumpers and body-colored cladding on all sides.
The front has a similar light setup while the rear gets LED glowing pattern within the same tail section. The silver finished skid plates were left behind for this black bumper finish, with wing mirrors and pillars getting gloss black paint for a premium exterior look. The inner side is even more tempting with brown and beige leather finish on the dashboard and leather-wrapped, diamond quilted seats. The layout stays exactly similar to a regular Creta while upper dashboard section is completely leather wrapped with silver inserts. The steering wheel is also beige finished, leaving buttons mounted on the black stock section and silver insert under the horn button.
The variant seen here carries automatic gearbox, which also means that the limited edition variant (after working on the concept) can be based on the top-spec automatic and manual gearbox variants in India. The inclusion of panoramic sunroof and leather use can attract an addition of around INR 1 lakh in the price tag of Hyundai Creta. The stock model of the car starts at INR 9.50 lakh for the 1.6L petrol motor, going all the way up to INR 15.10 lakh for the sunroof-equipped 1.6L diesel engine. Hyundai is not using the Verna sourced 1.4L petrol engine on the Creta while 1.4L diesel is available for two variants priced under INR 12 lakh.
