Hyundai Venue SUV Launched in India: Hyundai Venue, the all-new compact SUV from the leading car maker has been launched in India with a starting price tag of INR 6.50 Lakh. The price tag goes all the way up to INR 11.11 Lakh for the top spec variant which has been equipped with a variety of connectivity features, as promised.
The SUV can be availed in 6 trim levels namely: E, S, SX, SX Dual Tone, SX+ and SX (O). Termed as one of the best feature-loaded cars of the year, the Hyundai Venue SUV comes with two petrol and a single diesel engine options. The car is available in 10 different colours with an option for a white or black roof with some of the selected shades and three different interior upholstery options.
The Hyundai Creta inspired 1.4-litre diesel engine is capable of churning out a maximum power of 90HP and 220 Nm of maximum torque. The engine has been mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.2-litre petrol unit and 1.0-litre turbocharged engine offer a maximum power of 83HP and 120HP respectively. The 1.2-litre petrol engine gets a 5-speed manual gearbox while the latter has been equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission.
The turbocharged engine can also be availed with a DCT automatic gearbox while the ARAI claimed mileage for the same stands at 18.27 kmpl while the 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.4-litre diesel engine offers a mileage of 17.52 kmpl and 23.7 kmpl respectively. The newly launched compact SUV competes in the market with the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, and Ford EcoSport.
