The Korean automaker is getting ready to release the Venue N Line, a sportier version of the subcompact SUV. It will be built in the same manner as the i20 N Line, which was introduced last year. Venue N Line’s first official photos have been released, revealing some intriguing new details.
Venue N Line will be distinguished from the standard model by subtle cosmetic changes. The sportier version of the sub-4-metre SUV has red accents on the lower lip of the front and rear bumpers, the front fender and tailgate will also sport N Line badging.
A dual-tip exhaust in the rear profile, and red inserts on the roof rails and brake callipers, add to the SUV’s sporty appearance. To distinguish the N Line from the standard model, Hyundai has introduced new alloy wheel designs.
The cabin features an all-black theme with N Line-specific upholstery rather than the dual-tone theme seen in regular Venue variants. Red accents on the gear knob, centre console, and dashboard, and contrast red stitching on the seats and door trims, add to the cabin’s sportiness.
Expected features include an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, BlueLink connected car technology, an electric sunroof, and a Bose audio system.
Venue N Line will be powered solely by a 1.0-litre GDi turbo petrol engine producing 120 HP and 172 Nm of peak torque. Only in the N Line will this motor be available with a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox. Hyundai is also likely to slightly stiffen the suspension setup in the Venue N Line to provide sportier on-road handling and dynamics.
Hyundai will offer two Venue N Line variants: N6 and N8. Bookings are now available at Hyundai India dealerships and online for a booking amount of Rs 21,000. The launch of Venue N Line will take place on September 6th, in Metaverse, on Roblox.
