Mahindra is clearly on a roll, the new generation Scorpio N debuted just a few weeks ago. The rebranded Scorpio Classic debuted recently with visual updates and a revised 2.2-litre diesel engine. XUV700 was the first Mahindra to feature the new Twin Peaks corporate logo, and it will be incorporated into other models as well.
The indigenous SUV specialist has been spotted testing what appears to be the updated Bolero MUV. Bolero has been a consistent seller for the brand and has been available in our country for nearly two decades. XUV300 will most likely be the first to receive the new logo update with the Bolero possibly following later.
Following the release of spy photos of the updated XUV300, the upcoming Mahindra Bolero has been captured on camera. There are no major changes except for the addition of the new logo. TUV300 was rebranded as the Bolero Neo last year, and the Bolero Neo Plus is set to arrive in the coming months.
Mahindra recently updated the Bolero with the addition of new safety features. It is available in B4, B6, and B6 Optional trims, with prices ranging from Rs. 9.33 lakh to Rs. 10.26 lakh (ex-showroom). It is powered by a 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine that produces 75 bhp at 3,600 rpm and 210 Nm of peak torque at 1,600 rpm.
The powertrain is linked to a five-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. Dual-tone colour schemes are also possible, and it is currently available in Lakeside Brown, Mist Silver, and Diamond White single-tone shades. Aside from the new logo, the utilitarian could see minor changes to the front fascia.
We do not anticipate any mechanical changes with the updated model, but the Mahindra XUV300 might come with a more powerful 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 130 bhp and 230 Nm of maximum output.
